Candidates seeking admission to the Master’s programmes have to take a written test. The syllabus and pattern for the test for most of the programmes can be accessed from the university website.
Admission to PhD programmes is in two phases, phase I is an online computer based entrance test and phase II comprises submission of a research proposal and state of purpose followed by an interview. The entrance test is based on a prescribed syllabus and pattern, uploaded on the university website. The interview for candidates from outside India can be held through Skype. The requirements for the interview are also uploaded on the university website for each programme of study.

Q8. How do I apply?
You need to log in to the university website and then register and apply online. It is better if you can make payment for the entrance test fee of USD 10 or INR 700 or equivalent through internet banking or debit or credit card. Those who cannot make payment online are still required to apply online and then opt for off-line payment.
Q9. When should I apply?
The admission process has already started. The last date for applying for admissions this year is 20 March 2019 and the entrance test will be held on 27 and 28 April 2019 at specified centres in all SAARC countries.
Q10. I don’t belong to any of the SAARC countries but I want to apply. Do you have centres in countries outside the SAARC region?

Such students can apply on the prescribed application form after joining the University along with all supporting documents.
